About the Health in Common E-Newsletter

The Health in Common E-Newsletter is a subscription-based, free service provided by Health in Common, and is distributed by email the last Monday of the month (if the last Monday falls on the 26-31 of the month the E-Newsletter will be sent on the second last Monday) to approximately 750 people. The E-Newsletter contains learning opportunities, job postings, resources, and a listing of health promotion days of interest to both the general public and those working to create healthy sustainable communities in Manitoba and beyond.  Anyone can subscribe through the Subscription page.

An E-Newsletter archive is also available at all times by visiting http://www.healthincommon.ca/e-newsletter/enews-archive/, no subscription needed. Our website now includes a Meetings & Events Calendar which plots Manitoba meetings & events in an easy-to-navigate calendar format to assist partners in avoiding scheduling conflicts when planning related meetings and events.

Inclusion in the Health in Common E-Newsletter and/or Meeting & Events Calendar should not be construed as an endorsement of any given event or opportunity by Health in Common. For more information about a listing, please contact the associated organization or individual directly.  Health in Common is not responsible for the content of external Internet sites.

How to Submit a Listing for the Health in Common e-Newsletter

If you would like to submit a learning opportunity, job posting or resource please send it to contact@healthincommon.ca by noon the last Friday of the month (a week earlier if the last Monday falls on the 26-31 of the month) for inclusion in the following Monday’s E-Newsletter.  If applicable, meetings & events will be plotted in our Meetings & Events Calendar, also available on our website.

Listings only need to be submitted once, and will be included in the E-Newsletter until the event concludes or the deadline passes.

Please include a URL (website address) that links to further information about your listing. If your posting does not include a URL the information may not be available to subscribers who are unable to receive the E-Newsletter in HTML format.  Text should be attached as a document.  Health in Common reserves the right to edit submissions for length and suitability.
